Verify your domain ownership on Google Search Console

Google Search Console is a free tool that allows you to list your domain and verify its ownership plus get your site pages indexed faster. Here's how to verify your domain on the Search Console.

Here are the steps to follow: 

  • Go to Google Search Console Link
  • Type in your URL prefix on the right side
  • Click continue & copy the HTML code
  • Access your Knorish account
  • Click Website Builder > Pages > Home page > Settings
  • Under Header Code, select V2 or V3 as the case may be
  • Paste the copied code and then click on Save to save changes
  • Click verify in Google Search Console window

 

This process ensures your domain ownership is verified and your site will be indexed by Google faster as well.



Important Considerations

Verifying your domain is a standard best practice. However, it doesn't guarantee immediate results. This process ensures Google's crawlers are made aware of the new pages or sites. crawling activity is dependant on Google's bots.
