Important Considerations
Selecting price based discount will work only for one course or bundle at one time. While selecting a percent-based discount will work for all courses, bundles or the multiple selected courses, bundles.
Once recurring coupons (multiple use) is applied in purchase, the same gets applied to all auto charges until the subscription ends or expires.
When a course price is changed after a coupon is created, coupons with discount type as 'Price' are deactivated and will no longer function. Coupons with discount type 'Percent' will not have any impact and will continue to function after a price change.
Course and bundle coupon discounts can be based on either price or percentage. However, category coupons can be based only on percentage.
Paid courses can’t be priced any less than $1 or ₹1 else the transaction will fail. You must not discount courses below that amount.
The discount amount should not exceed INR 500000 and 5000 USD.
A 100% discount coupon should not be created for bundles. Instead, use the free price link or add a user to the bundle. However, you can create a 100% discount coupon for the course and category type.
A coupon's allowed use count could increase by 1 or 2 when multiple users are using the coupon at the same time. This is because it may take time for the gateway to process a payment and confirm completion, during which another payment could have been completed using the same coupon by another user.
Coupon information is stored in UTC time format in the backend, as UTC is a globally recognized standard time. When a coupon is created, we automatically convert your local timezone to UTC. Similarly, when a customer purchases your content from any location worldwide, we also convert their time to UTC to ensure the coupon validity.
