How to customize the menu on your website, add submenu, change company name, logo or update menu colors?
Your website’s navigation menu helps learners easily explore your pages and content. This guide explains how to set up, edit, and customize your menu, including adding items, submenus, logos, color settings, and CSS styling.
Accessing the menu
Access the navigation bar editor from your website builder to customize how your site’s main menu appears and functions. Here’s how to access the menu settings:
Access your Publisher Dashboard
Click Website builder > Pages
Under Actions, click Edit for the page you wish to modify
Once the page builder opens, click Edit again
Click the Gear icon at the top center to open the Navigation bar window
Updating the menu style, company name and logo
Within the Settings tab of the navigation bar, you can configure your brand’s logo and name. Follow these steps:
Click Settings under the navigation bar
Under Style, select your preferred menu style (for example, static dark topbar, transparent topbar, etc.)
Click Logo to upload your logo image
Under Logo Text, update your company name text (for example: your brand or company name)
Update Logo link if needed to direct users to your homepage or any preferred URL
Click OK to save changes
The updates will be saved.
Note: If both logo and logo text are added, the logo appears first followed by the text
Editing and rearranging menu items
The Menu builder tab allows you to create, organize, and manage your menu items.
Here's how to add a new menu item:
Click the Menu Builder tab
Select +Item to add a new menu item
Under Generate link, choose the Type
If Page links is selected, choose a page from the Source dropdown
Add your Display text
Check Open in new window if you want the link to open separately
Click Select icon to display an icon instead of text, if preferred
Optionally, select Highlight to emphasize the item
Click Add to include it in your menu
Drag one menu item slightly under another to nest it as a submenu
Drop it to confirm placement
Repeat for additional submenu items
Click OK to save the changes
Follow the process to add more options on the menu for redirection to courses, bundles, or to redirect the user to their account or profile.
Note: Once the dropdown is selected, the URL is auto populated in the Link. If you wish to enable a custom link, simply add the URL here and the display text without selecting a page from the dropdown.
Changing menu appearance and style
You can also customize the colors and CSS of your menu to match your website’s design.
To change the look of your menu:
Go to the Settings tab under the navigation bar
Select the color required under Background Color and Sub Menu Background Color
Additionally, use Navbar CSS and Menu item CSS to apply custom styling
The menu and submenu's color will be changed accordingly.

Menu changes made using the new page builder automatically apply to all existing and new pages built with it.
