How to set the next invoice number for course and bundle purchases?

The Next Invoice Number setting lets you control the invoice number applied to the next course or bundle purchase on your site. Each following purchase then increments automatically from that number, so you can keep Edbound invoice numbering aligned with your own accounting sequence. 

Follow these steps to set the number applied to your next invoice.


  1. Access your dashboard
  2. Open Settings > General > Next Invoice Number
  3. Enter the number to apply to the next invoice
  4. Save the setting
Important consideration
  1. You cannot set a number lower than the highest invoice number already used on your account
  2. The minimum you can enter depends on your account history, so it varies from account to account
  3. Invoices already issued are not changed
