There are times when course creators prefer only a certain number of enrolments in their courses or live training sessions such as small group coaching sessions etc. This feature allows you to limit enrollments to a specific number of students.
Here are the steps to follow:
- Go to Courses > Builder > Publish
- Scroll to bottom > Limit Course Sales
- The Toggle Key is Off by default
- Turn it On to Set Course Limitation
- Enter the no. of sales allowed
That’s it. The limit on the course sales will be enabled.
Important Considerations
- These settings need to be decided and defined before making the course live for sales. Please note that if any user has added the course to their cart, they can check out at any point hence, it is required to define the course limit sales before going live.
- The course must be published and have a price assigned to allow users to enroll.
- Once the course sales limit is reached, future attempts to buy that course will bring an error message for the user saying “Sorry, all seats are full now!”
- The limit course sales count should always be greater than the number of users already enrolled in the course.
- User add or import will not count towards the course purchase limit. However, this feature is known as limit course sales, it is not limit user add or import but user added or imported would be counted in seats allocated. Hence, below are 2 scenarios for a better understanding:
- Course with 0 limits -> you can add or import or checkout unlimited.
- Course with 4 limits -> you can either add or import or checkout however, when the total count reaches to 4, the next attempt to checkout will see "seats full". But still, you can add or import unlimited users.
