Creating, managing, and maintaining courses on Knorish is simple and flexible, allowing you to deliver structured learning experiences with ease. Whether you're building new content, using AI to structure your curriculum, uploading different content formats, or removing outdated material — Knorish gives you full control over your course lifecycle. This guide walks you through everything from creating a course to using AI tools and deleting courses you no longer need.
Creating a Course on Knorish
The following steps will guide you through the entire process to take your course live.
Follow the steps below to start creating your course and add content:
Access Publisher Dashboard
Click Courses > New Course
Enter Course Name > Create
Under curriculum, click Add Section > Add Chapter
Add the section and chapter name
Select the type of content you wish to add
Video
Audio
PDF
Embedded
Live Session
Live Event
Page Builder
Click Add Downloadable Files to upload content such as PDF, PPTX, DOCX, ZIP, or RAR files
Click Next
On the Publish page, update course pricing, language and other settings
Click Publish
Note: You can also add live sessions to your course which could be a single session, multiple sessions within a specific timeframe or ongoing sessions as required. Learn more about how to create a live session on Knorish.
How to use AI to structure your Course curriculum?
Knorish provides an AI-powered course creation feature that helps you structure your curriculum effortlessly. With this tool, you can generate a well-organized course outline based on your subject matter, target audience, and learning objectives.
Follow the steps below to get the AI to create the course curriculum for you:
Access Publisher Dashboard
Click Courses > New Course
Enter Course Name
Click Ask Knorish AI to create the curriculum
Enter your prompt for the curriculum creation
Click Create
The platform will automatically generate a structured course curriculum based on the prompt you provide, including pre-organized sections and chapters. You can easily customize the outline by modifying chapters or adding additional sections and chapters as needed.
Note: The 'Ask Knorish AI to Create Curriculum' feature has a character limit of 500 (including spaces). Ensure to enter a detailed prompt that explains what course curriculum you would like the AI to generate.
Deleting a Course on Knorish
If you no longer need a course, you can permanently delete it from your Knorish dashboard. This process is irreversible and should only be used when you're sure the course is no longer required.
The steps below walk you through the process of deleting a course permanently.
Click Courses > Course Name
On the course details page, click the X (Delete) icon
Enter the exact course name in the popup
Click Delete
Once done, the course will be deleted from the account and users will no longer have the access to it. It will be removed from the course library as well.
Formats of Course content
The options for course content updates are as follows:
Video:Upload from your device, Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. Supported formats: MP4, WMV, AVI, MKV, FLV.Learn more.
Audio: Upload MP3, AAC, OGG, or WAV files (up to 50MB per chapter).Learn more.
PDF: You can convert doc, excel, ppt files, etc to a PDF and upload up to 25MB.
Embed: Add YouTube/Vimeo videos, Google Forms, Slides, Docs, or Sheets. Learn more here.
Assessment: Add quizzes with single-choice, multiple-choice, objective, and subjective questions.Learn more here.
Live Session: Interactive live online sessions that are conducted via MS Teams, Zoom or any other live streaming solution
Live Events: Integrate Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, YouTube Live Stream or any other embeddable live streaming.

Downloadable Files: Provide students with resources like worksheets, brochures, and other documents (PDF, PPT, XLSX, DOCX, ZIP, or RAR). Learn more.
Important Considerations
While Knorish allows you unlimited content uploads, we recommend you stick to 100-150 chapters in a course for a user-friendly and seamless experience. If your course curriculum loads slowly, consider splitting it into multiple courses and selling them as a bundle. Learn more.
File Size Limits: Video files can be upto 2 GB in size, PDF upto 50 MB, Audio upto 50 MB, and downloadable files can be of upto 50 MB.
