Creating a blog with only categories as a drop-down helps to direct your site viewers to specific sets of blog posts directly. For this you need to first copy the blog category's URL, add it as an external page link and then add the link to the menu. This article will show the steps to achieve this.

Copy the URL for the blog category
Follow the steps below to copy the URL/ link for the blog category you wish to add as a drop down on the menu.
- Open your Knorish site
- Click on the blog on the menu
- Go to blog page > click on categories
- Select the category from the drop-down
- Copy the URL for that category

Add the copied URL to a new external link page
Follow the steps below to add the copied URL/link as an external page.
- Go to Web-site builder > Pages > +External Link
- Create a New External Link
- Fill in the category’s name > copied URL
- Select both toggles - display in top menu & publish this link
- Click Save
Note: You can repeat the same process for any no. of categories you want to display as dropdowns.
Add the blog category as a dropdown in the menu
Finally, follow these steps below to add the new link in the menu.
- Go to Menu Manager in the Website Builder
- Drag & drop the categories under the blog menu
- Slide them slightly to the right as demonstrated to create sub-menu
- Click on Save
This way, the blog with categories as drop-downs will be created in the menu.
