How to upload a video?

The native video upload feature is not available in the Lifetime plan. As an alternative, you can upload the videos on YouTube/Vimeo or any other platform and embed them in your course content.

How do I use the Live sessions feature where Zoom is integrated within the platform?

The Zoom integrated feature within Knorish is not available in the Lifetime plan. Additionally, as the lifetime deal on Appsumo has expired, currently there is no option to avail it as an add-on either. Alternatively, you can use the LIVE EVENT option in your dashboard to conduct sessions - Via YouTube live stream - Create A Live Event. Or, you can use any other meeting tool that provides meeting links, as listed here: How To Use Google Meet Or Other Conference Tools For Live Sessions.

What payment gateways can I integrate?

We offer multiple payment gateway options that you can choose from.

How do I create a Webinar Funnel?

This feature is not available in the Lifetime plan as your current plan does not include Live sessions through the Knorish integrated Zoom feature. However, if you wish to use this feature for your Academy, please subscribe to our monthly/annual plans here:Knorish Plans 

What should be the Privacy settings of the Video I embed from YouTube/Vimeo?

YouTube allows you to choose from the below privacy settings:

  • Public is the default setting and that means anybody can see your video. If you don’t mind your video coming up in YouTube/Google search results and you don’t mind if anyone can see it, then set your settings to Public. 
  • Private means only those you invite to view the video can view it (they must have their own YouTube accounts). Your video will not come up under any search results or your channel list. If you try to share it with someone who wasn’t invited, they will not be able to connect to it. So, if you only want your friends to see the link and no one else, then set your settings to private. 
  • Unlisted means your video will not come up in search results or on your channel either. Only those who know the link can view it, and you can share the link with anyone, even those who do not have a YouTube account. This means that this video could still be seen by anyone, but only if they have access to the link!

To sum it up, 

  • If your YouTube video is Public, it can be viewed by anyone.
  • If your YouTube video is Unlisted, it is not searchable but it can be viewed by anyone with the link. This option can keep your videos hidden on Youtube and allow you to embed the videos inside Knorish making them viewable without additional permissions needed. Note: In this option, all YouTube videos once opened can be shared by viewers.
  • If your YouTube video is Private, you will have to allow viewers access to the list of email addresses. Hence, these shouldn't be embedded.

What are the features not available in the Lifetime plan?

Almost on all lifetime deals mapped on SaaS products, there are differentials that you'll have gained an understanding of. Here, there are 3 key things :

  • A lifetime deal for all plans would give you the ability to embed videos from 3rd partyservices like YouTube and Vimeo and other services in the course builder itself as we have now launched the general embed option. However, the video upload option is available on monthly/annual subscriptions only and is not included in the lifetime plan.
  • We have a very powerful native integrated Zoom offering that is not a part of the lifetime deal but you do have the option to embed course content.
  • You can launch white-labeled iOS and Android apps with Knorish and they are an integral part of the regular Knorish offerings and not the lifetime deal. However, the feature is available as an add-on for $50 /month (paid annually) for iOS or Android apps.

A few other costly services like monthly unlimited emailing through our webinar funnel are also only available on regular SaaS Plans.

Is the multi-currency feature available?

The platform currently offers to present USD as the only transaction-level currency, however, you can mention the price in EUR alongside the USD price on the landing page, near the CTA button. As Stripe and other gateways would accept anyone making the payment in over 40 currencies, this won't be an issue for your sales as Knorish academies sell courses across 45 countries.

Rest assured, we do plan to enable multiple currencies in the future with dynamic shifting.

Does the platform calculate and handle tax arrangements, such as GST and VAT?

Currently, we enable customization of the invoices through the backend. So, you can show that all your invoice prices are inclusive of X% of VAT / local tax. Filings and compliances will have to be managed in the backend for these anyways.

Which languages are available and is there an option to translate the front end per my language?

Your landing pages or website pages can be created in any language, we have academies in multiple languages on Knorish. These languages will also be visible on your mobile apps. 

Additionally, you can enable Google Translator on the site pages. How many custom domains can I connect with the Knorish site?

In one plan, you can connect only one domain/subdomain.
