How To Add a Watermark or Logo to Your Videos on Knorish?
A watermark is an image overlaid on a video to prevent unauthorized use. It can be a logo, text or graphic — for example, your brand logo at the corner of every video. Adding a watermark to your videos helps protect your content and reinforce your brand identity. Please note that only 1 watermark can be added which will be applied to all course videos in your account.
Follow this guide to understand how you can request watermark setup for your videos on Knorish.
How to Prepare Your Watermark
Before requesting a watermark, ensure you prepare the image according to requisite specifications as listed below
- Create a PNG image with transparent background
- Set the image size to height: 300px and width: 300px
- Choose where you want the watermark positioned: Top-Left or Top-Right
Once your watermark image is ready, you are set to submit your request.
How to Request Watermark Setup
Please contact Knorish Support to get your watermark added to your videos. Follow these simple steps:
- Email the prepared PNG watermark as an attachment to support@knorish.com
- Mention your preferred watermark position: Top-Left or Top-Right
- Wait for the confirmation from the Knorish support team after they upload the watermark
After receiving confirmation, proceed to the testing phase.
How to Test and Finalize Your Watermark
Testing ensures that your watermark appears perfectly on your videos before regular uploads resume. To finalize the watermark:
- After receiving upload confirmation, immediately upload a new test video
- Check if the watermark is appearing correctly as per your preference
- If any adjustment is needed, immediately inform support@knorish.com for corrections
- Wait for the final adjustment confirmation before uploading any more videos
During this test period, any uploaded video will automatically carry the watermark.
Important Considerations
- The watermark is encoded into the video file and cannot be removed after uploading
- If you want to change or remove your watermark later, you must re-upload the affected content with the original files
- During the watermark testing period as well, all uploaded videos will have the watermark applied
- It is highly recommended to not upload any new videos until your watermark or its placement is finalized
- Knorish will not be able to provide the original watermark-free video files
