Referral payouts at Knorish are transparent& fully automated. Payments are directed to bank accounts automatically as per the requests or when the thresholds met and may be subject to taxes. In this FAQ, we will show you how referral payouts, refunds, bank account updation, and auto payout is setup.

Referral Payouts

This section is about the payouts that have been settled or are yet to be settled. You can customize the view basis the filters available and check the history. 

Here's how the payout section works:

• Access the referral section in your dashboard
• Click on Referral Payout
• Add filters - date range, currency, and Status 
• The report below the section will show the details.

Should you need it, you can also download the report by clicking on CSV, Excel, or print. You can also click on copy to copy the data and paste it into the desired file.

Setup Auto Payouts

You can also enable auto payouts when the threshold completes by checking the box in the 'Enable auto payout section'. 

Here's how: 

• Go to Referral>Dashboard
• Click on Referral Payout
• Scroll down to Auto Payout Setting
• Check the Enable Auto Payout when Threshold is reached
• Fill in the Threshold Amount in INR& USD 
• Click on Save

Update Bank Account Details For Payouts

This section must be updated with your bank account details for the payouts to be processed. You can choose to use a separate bank account or the same one that is already listed in your Knorish site for course sales' earning payouts. Here’s how you get to update and Save the Bank Details on this Page:

• Fill in the bank name: 
• Account holder’s name: 
• PAN/Taxpayer Identification Number
• Account number, and
• IFSC Code

Referral Refunds 

Once requested, payouts are processed on a monthly basis on the condition that the minimum threshold is achieved. In case the referral (academy you had referred to Knorish) opts out& the subscription amount is refunded by Knorish, your earned commission will also be reversed. Here’s how to access the information in steps : 

• Go to Referral>Dashboard
• Click on Referral Refund 
• Select the period, currency, for settled or not settled amount 
• View the Report

Additionally, below this section, you will also get access to individual academy data where refunds have been processed.

Important Considerations: 

• Please enable the auto payout and add a bank account to receive payouts.
• Make sure the bank account information is complete and correct.
• Referral payouts are processed automatically within 45 days of your users signing up on any Knorish plan.
• The referred user must not have requested for a refund and their account should be active at the time of requesting the payout and processing.
• Any payouts failing or wrongly credited to the wrong bank account due to incorrect information cannot be claimed back.
• Min. threshold to process a payout: INR 5,000& US $50.
• Make sure the bank account information is complete and correct. Any payouts failing or credited to the wrong bank account due to incorrect information cannot be claimed back.
  
• If a referred customer signs up using a discounted offer, the referral commission is adjusted accordingly based on the actual amount paid. However, referral commissions are not applicable if a referred customer upgrades to a lifetime or multi-year plan at heavily discounted prices.
