How can learners manage their billing, subscription, and membership payments?
Learners enrolled in recurring memberships can manage their own billing and subscription settings from their learner account. This guide outlines the steps your learners can follow to access and manage their subscription details.
Access the Billing & Subscription Settings
Your learners can manage their recurring memberships from the Subscriptions section of their learner account. This is where they can view active subscriptions, update their payment method, or cancel a membership.
Use the following steps to access the subscription settings.
Click the Profile avatar > Select Subscriptions
View Subscription Details
The Subscriptions page provides your learners with an overview of each recurring membership.
Once they open the Subscriptions page, they can review the following details.
Bundle Name
Started On Date
Subscription Status
Renewal Date
Bundle Expiry Date
Payment card linked to the subscription
Update the Payment Method for a Subscription
If your learners want future recurring payments to be charged to a different card, they can update the payment method for an active subscription at any time. Use the following steps to update the payment method.
Click the Edit card icon for the required subscription
Enter the new card details
Complete the verification, if prompted
Click Save
View and Download Invoices
Your learners can access invoices for all successful subscription payments directly from their account whenever required.
Use the following steps to access invoices.
Click the Profile avatar > Select Invoices
Download the invoice
Cancel a Subscription
Your learners can cancel an active subscription at any time. Once cancelled, recurring payments stop while they continue to have access until the end of the current billing cycle.
Use the following steps to cancel a subscription.
Open the Subscriptions page
Click the Cancel icon for the required subscription
Click Yes, Cancel and confirm selection
Renew a Subscription
If your learners cancel a subscription or it expires, they can purchase the membership again from your website or landing page. Once the payment is successful, their access is enabled.
Important Considerations
Your learners can update the payment method only for active subscriptions.
Cancelling a subscription stops future recurring payments but does not immediately remove access.
They continue to have access until the end of the current billing cycle.
Cancelled subscriptions cannot be reactivated from the Subscriptions page and must be purchased again from your website or landing page.
Invoice history remains available after a subscription has been cancelled.
Payment methods available during checkout depend on the payment gateway configured on your website.
If your learners have multiple active subscriptions, each subscription can be managed independently from the Subscriptions page.
