Error messages while signing up/ logging in on Knorish

This article talks about the solutions to common errors faced by creators while logging into their account on Knorish.

When Signing Up

Email ID already taken

This error is faced by users when signing up for the first time on Knorish. If you enter an  email address that has been previously used to sign up on the platform, you will be prompted with the error message.

Please use another email to rectify the issue. 

Subdomain Already Taken

A subdomain is a subset of the root domain that is added as a prefix. For example, in the URL knowledge.knorish.com, knorish.com is the root domain and help. is the subdomain. In other words, a subdomain is a unique identifier and the URL for your account with Knorish.

In case you get this error, please use another name as this can be white-labeled with any other domain name that you may have.

When Logging In

Invalid username/password



You will receive this error message if you are using the wrong combination of the email address and password.

Password Incorrect

  • Make sure you are double checking both the credentials before clicking on “submit”
  • In case you have forgotten your password, click on “Forgot Password”
  • You will receive an email to update the password. Click on the link and create a new password.

Account locked

As a security measure, multiple attempts of an incorrect password more than 5 times will lead to the account being locked.

  • This does not mean that your account is deleted. Please reset your password & recover your account by clicking on “Clicking here”.

However, you will be able to see the category it is in and also see which of the features are currently under process or have been completed.
