How to check which emails have been sent to a user?

Knowing exactly which emails have been sent to your users—and how they interacted with them—helps improve communication, boost engagement, and reduce email fatigue. This guide shows how to check a user's email history and understand the effectiveness of each message with built-in campaign analytics.

Check Emails Sent

To view the emails a specific user has received, you’ll need to access their user profile and then review the emails sent. Here’s how to do this.

Follow these steps to view a user's email activity
  • Access Publisher Dashboard > Users

  • Click All Users

  • Use the Search bar and the Date Filter to locate the user by name or email

  • Click View > Emails

  • Use filters such as Delivered, Opened or Clicked to narrow down relevant campaigns

  • Review the list of campaigns the user was included in

Understand Email Campaign Analytics

You also get detailed analytics for each email campaign, enabling you to monitor delivery success and user engagement. These insights help you refine future communication and measure campaign effectiveness. Email analytics are split into two views: user-specific email logs and overall campaign performance metrics.

User-Level Email Events

This panel displays a comprehensive snapshot of how a specific user interacted with your email campaign. It includes delivery metrics, open and click statistics, along with device and client-specific details.

Here are the key analytics available for individual users

  1. Opens by Email Client – Shows the email provider/platform used to open the email (e.g., Gmail)
  2. Clicks by Browser – Displays the browser type used to interact with links (if any)
  3. Delivery
    1. Delivered – Number and percentage of emails successfully delivered
    2. Bounced – Emails that failed to deliver
    3. Complained – Users who marked the email as spam
    4. Rendering Failure – Emails that could not be displayed
    5. Delivery Delay – Emails delayed before reaching the inbox
    6. Unsubscribed – Users who opted out of future emails
  1. Open Rate
    1. Unique Open – Number of distinct users who opened the email
    2. Total Open – Total number of opens (including repeat opens by the same user)
  2. Click Rate
    1. Unique Click – Number of distinct users who clicked any links in the email
    2. Total Click – Total number of link clicks (including multiple clicks by the same user)
Campaign-Level Metrics
Campaign-level analytics include summary stats and performance filters to segment recipient actions.

These filter tabs help you segment recipients based on email outcomes like delivery, open, click, bounce, or unsubscribe. Use them to quickly analyze specific user actions within a campaign.

Important Considerations
  • Analytics are updated every two hours.

  • Email opens may be inflated by multiple views or automatic previews by email clients.

  • All times are displayed in UTC.

  • Only campaigns sent using Knorish's Email Campaigns module are tracked here.
