Checking Email Failed, Bounced, and Health Failed Users' Data

Maintaining a clean email list is critical for ensuring high delivery rates. If your list contains invalid addresses, inactive users, or recipients who mark your emails as spam, it can result in bounces (hard or soft), blocked delivery, or poor sender reputation. Over time, this can cause a large percentage of your emails to be stopped by servers or popular email clients like Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo.

Here’s what these categories mean:
  1. Email Failed Users – emails that could not be delivered due to technical errors or invalid addresses
  1. Email Bounced Users – emails that were rejected by the recipient’s server (hard bounces are permanent issues like invalid addresses, soft bounces are temporary like a full inbox)
  1. Email Health Failed Users – emails flagged because of repeated delivery failures, spam complaints, or poor sending reputation, leading to suppression of further sends
To check this data:
  1. Access Publisher Dashboard
  2. Click Users > All Users
  3. Select a Date Range for which you wish to analyze the email status
  4. In the Search Type dropdown, filter results:
    1. Email failed users
    2. Email bounced users
    3. Email health failed users
  5. Click Search to view the filtered list
This allows you to track problematic addresses, take corrective action, and maintain a healthy email list for better delivery performance.

Important Considerations
Email campaign data updates every 2 hours
  1. All platform-triggered emails, including funnel and transactional ones, are reportable
  2. Use filters wisely to focus on relevant campaigns and avoid data overload
  3. Test Emails help you preview delivery before running live campaigns
  4. Understanding user behavior via open and click metrics helps optimize your communication strategy
