Going live is one of the best ways to engage your community in real time. Whether it’s a meeting, webinar, or townhall, your members need quick access to the session. The fastest way to make that happen is by sharing the direct joining link in the relevant group and pinning the post so every member sees it at the top of their feed.
If you’re using the native Microsoft Teams integration offered by Knorish, you can set up meetings and webinars directly from your account. Learn how to do that here:
For other live-streaming solutions like Zoom, Google Meet, or YouTube Live, you can simply share the joining link as a post in your community group.
Use the joining link from MS Teams pre-integrated in Knorish
Log into your Teams account, start the session, and copy the joining link.
Steps:
- Log in to your Microsoft Teams account using the credentials provided by Knorish
- Go to the Calendar from the left sidebar
- Find and click the scheduled event (meeting, webinar, or townhall)
- Start the session
- Click People > Share Invite
- Copy the meeting link displayed
This is the link you’ll share with your community in the post and pin it so that everyone in the group gets to see it. Here's how to post an event announcement in the group.
Once done, it's always a good idea to pin the post as well.
Recommended: Use a webinar funnel complete with a landing page for registrations for each session to automate email or WhatsApp reminders, registrations or signups and post-session upsells and offers. Here's how to build an automated webinar funnel using Knorish: Webinar Funnel BuilderUse other live-streaming solutions
If you’re hosting your session on another platform like Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, or YouTube Live, you can share it just as easily. Here's how to do this:
- Schedule your meeting or webinar on the chosen platform
- Copy the meeting or streaming link
- Go to your Knorish community group
- Paste the link into a new post and add event details.
This method works for any external streaming service.
Important Considerations
- Always share the session link well before the start time to avoid confusion
- For larger events like webinars or townhalls, a webinar funnel helps automate reminders and follow-ups
- Test your link in a private window before posting to confirm it’s working correctly
- Non-MS Teams streaming platforms also work seamlessly by simply posting the joining link in your group feed
